Neighbors working together to promote safety and build community.

Love where you live.

The Terra Del Sol Neighborhood Association is a group of neighbors who love where we live and strive to take care of our community. We do this through family-friendly events, informative quarterly meetings, and neighborhood initiatives like clean-up projects.

Please explore our website for helpful information about the neighborhood. To learn more about the history of Terra Del Sol, please click the link below.

Our Neighborhood

The Terra Del Sol community is nestled between 22nd and Golf Links and Wilmot and Kolb. We are a diverse community with schools, grocery stores, restaurants, churches, a park, a pool, and many other businesses within our borders. There is also plenty to see and do within walking distance of our community as well as ample access to public transportation. Additionally, we are just a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Tucson.

Our Meetings

We hold meetings on a quarterly basis: January, April, July, October. Our meetings are one hour long and have a simple format. We usually invite a guest speaker for the first 15 minutes. Speakers range from police officers to Sun Tran employees to help give insight and expertise on safety and resources in our community. We spend about 15-30 minutes sharing about upcoming events or initiatives and any pertinent information our neighborhood should be aware of. Whatever time remains is left for questions and discussion. Our meetings are open to all Terra Del Sol residents.

Our Next Meeting:

October 28, 6pm

Join us for our next quarterly meeting held at 22nd Street Baptist Church, 6620 E. 22nd Street, East meeting room. Our guest speaker will be from Environmental Services to help clarify the future of alley trash pick-up.

Our Board

Paula Meadows

President
Resident since 2016

When Paula first moved to TDS as a single mom, it felt like an answered prayer to be anchored somewhere. She was grateful for the stability she found here. Now as president, she feels blessed to have a team that strongly believes in the preservation of our community. Paula serves our neighborhood through her love of animals. She helps find lost pets and leads TNR efforts with cats.

Pat Smyser

Treasurer
Resident since 1983

Pat worked for Hughes Aircraft (now Raytheon) for thirty five years as a program estimator. Her three children grew up at the pool learning to swim. They were all on swim team and all became lifeguards and water safety instructors. Pat is actively involved with the pool and helps coordinate several of our community events.

Sarah Stepleton

Secretary
Resident since 2021

When Sarah first moved to TDS, she really only knew the few neighbors next to her. Since joining the association and the pool, she has learned about the efforts of longtime residents to maintain a deep sense of community. She is married with two teens and a toddler! When she isn’t busy with mom duties, she enjoys cooking, writing, and manages our website.

Dorothy Ashton

Member at Large
Resident since 1963

Dorothy has long time roots in the neighborhood. Her dad was a teacher at Palo Verde and also managed the TDS pool for years. She moved away in 1981 for a season but moved back in 1990. She raised three children who attended Palo Verde and swam on the TDS swim team. She cares about our neighborhood and community and wants it to be a safe place for everyone.

Linda Jackson

Resident since 2023

Linda is a native Minnesotan, but she has enjoyed living in Arizona. She has especially enjoyed living in Terra Del Sol!

Rose Novack

Rose has been a longtime resident and considers her time in Terra Del Sol a great stay. She is a retired RN, but now spends her time in her yard with her turtles and her plants. You might also see Rose out for a walk and picking up trash along our neighborhood wash.

Carol Vinson

Resident since 1967

Carol worked for TUSD in Human Resources and Information Technology for 30+ years. Not only have her three children grown up in the neighborhood but also her two grandchildren.
